Eluxe Awards are really paving the way for a better future in all the nominated categories.<\/p>\n<p>In case you didn&#8217;t know, Eluxe was a leader yet once again. By that, I mean not only was Eluxe the first sustainable fashion magazine in the world, but we also launched the world&#8217;s first ever sustainable luxury awards. We did so to shine a light on brands making a real difference to our planet.<\/p>\n<p>This year, we&#8217;ve narrowed the categories down to just beauty brands. And we&#8217;ve discovered that they&#8217;re more sustainable, vegan and effective than ever before!<\/p>\n<p>Our judges this year included Bespoke Black Book editor and publicist<a title=\"Lady Charlotte Lynham\" href=\"https:\/\/eluxeawards.com\/judge\/lady-charlotte-lynham\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lady Charlotte Lynham<\/a>,<a title=\"Kenny Jackson-Forrest\" href=\"https:\/\/eluxeawards.com\/judge\/kenny-jackson-forrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenny Jackson-Forrest<\/a>, the founder of Style &amp; Trashion,<a title=\"Noa Ben Moshe\" href=\"https:\/\/stylewithasmile.co\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Noa Ben Moshe<\/a>, fashion journalist and founder of the vegan blog<i>Style with a Smile, <\/i><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/chiaraspagnoligabardi\/?hl=en\" rel=\"nofollow\">Chiara Spagnoli Gabardi<\/a>, artist, journalist, filmmaker and film critic, and television\/web presenter, producer and writer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanessarae.net\/\">Vanessa Rae<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>What our judges looked for<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s not easy for our judges to make decisions. They were asked to determine various factors about the brands below.<\/p>\n<p>These included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The sustainability of the brand. Do they use eco-friendly packaging? Are the products ethically made? Are the ingredients natural? Organic?<\/li>\n<li>Aesthetics. Is this the kind of brand you&#8217;d like to see on your bathroom shelf?<\/li>\n<li>Ease of purchase. Is the website easy to navigate? Are returns policies clear?<\/li>\n<li>Brand concept. Is this an innovative brand? Is it a concept our readers would love to try?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See our judge&#8217;s decisions, and what impressed them most about the winners of the Eluxe Awards 2023, below.<\/p>\n<p><em>First and second images: Loni Bauer<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Meet The Winners Of The 2023 Eluxe Awards<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-303891 \" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/e41d18c5ad5960d0162828246f9b4ba8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"748\" height=\"935\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><b>1. Best Up and Coming Ethical brand<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees: <a href=\"https:\/\/lebeach.nl\/\">Le Beach<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myinvity.com\/\">Invity<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.counterculturestore.co.uk\/\">Counter Culture <\/a><\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lubay.be\/\">Lubay<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>Winner: Invity<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Science meets nature in this innovative vegan brand. They offer skincare from the inside out with their plant-based supplements, but of course, there&#8217;s a selection of traditional skincare products too. All their products are vegan with natural or nature-identical ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">What impressed our judges: <\/strong>Our judges loved their Instant Filler, with a patented Hyaluronic Acid Technology, NAD and collagen-boosting botanical extracts. Best Vegan Beauty Brand<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees: <a href=\"https:\/\/lonibaur-editions.com\/\">Loni Baur<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/arithmosskin.com.au\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Arithmos<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blurlondon.com\/\">Blur London <\/a><\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myinvity.com\/\">Invity<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>Winner: Arithmos<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>What do you do when the skincare you&#8217;re using isn&#8217;t working? You make your own skincare range, which is exactly what Arithmos founder Michelle Wang did. The brand was born with a desire to create simple, natural skincare with seasonal ingredients that are both effective and powerful. Made in micro-batches, everything is blended by hand and contains no parabens, emulsifiers, surfactants, fragrances, thickeners, synthetic preservatives, nuts, mineral or palm oils. The brand is certified vegan and cruelty-free!<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">What impressed our judges: <\/strong>our judges loved that these products are organic and hand-blended. They also appreciated the brand&#8217;s sustainable packaging. This includes recyclable glass bottles, kraft paper mailer boxes and cartons, and biodegradable mailer bags.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-303814\" title=\"2023 winners eluxe awards\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/279524080_536030304541469_803800393943295643_n-768x768-1.jpg\" alt=\"2023 winners eluxe awards\" width=\"750\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>3. Best Sustainable Luxury Beauty Brand<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees: <a href=\"https:\/\/wildcraftedorganics.com.au\/\">Wildcrafted Organics<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/adoreyes.com\/\">ADOREYES<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/inlightbeauty.co.uk\/\">InLight Beauty<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blurlondon.com\/\">Blur London <\/a><\/strong>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myinvity.com\/\"><strong>Invity<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This was a category where our judges couldn&#8217;t come to an agreement on the 2023 winners for the Eluxe Awards. After tallying up the votes, we decided that instead of going to a tie-breaker, we&#8217;d offer both brands the honour of winning in this category.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Winner: TIE! <\/b>Blur London and ADOREYES<\/h3>\n<p>Forget following trends! Best Ethical Hair Care Brand<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees: <a href=\"https:\/\/fragilecosmetics.com\/\">Fragile Cosmetics<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hairstory.com\/\">HAIRSTORY<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ingreendients.com\/\">Ingreedients<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/saachorganics.com\/\">Saach Organics.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>Winner: Ingreendients<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>By now we should all know that what goes <em>on<\/em> our skin ends up <em>inside<\/em> our body, so it makes sense the products you use are safe to use. Ingreedients products are all formulated using ingredients from plants. Not only do they biodegrade once they go down the drain, but they\u2019re safe for our bodies (and waterways) too!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What impressed our judges<\/strong>: Everyday basics are important. And Ingreendients provides clean, effective, plant based formulations you&#8217;ll love to use every day in the shower. Think: shampoos, conditioners and shower gels that are gentle on your body<i>and<\/i>the environment. But what we love most is the fact that each product comes in a plant-based plastic or recycled plastic bottle. Best Clean Beauty Brand<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Nominees: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lodaites.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">ODA\u00cfT\u00c8S<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wildcraftedorganics.com.au\/\">Wildcrafted Organics<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/adoreyes.com\/\">ADOREYES<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/arithmosskin.com.au\/\">Arithmos<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/inlightbeauty.co.uk\/\">Inlight Beauty<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/blurlondon.com\/\">Blur London <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myinvity.com\/\">Invity<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many luxury skincare brands pump their products with cheap fillers and cancer causing chemicals, yikes! But not any of the 2023 winners of the Eluxe Awards! Which is one reason why it&#8217;s so hard to choose. There&#8217;s science behind these products, too.
